Bombers Win 4th Consecutive TCL Championship

The Brazos Valley Bombers defeated the Acadiana Cane Cutters played the 2016 TCL Championship game in Mumford due to weather in Bryan-College Station.  The Bombers now have won four consecutive Texas Collegiate League championships in a row.

Marshals Fall In Final Game Of Season 16-0

Last night the Texas Marshals concluded their regular season on the road, losing to the Brazos Valley Bombers by a final score of 16-0.  Here is the link to last night’s box score:

Bombers Defeat Marshals 8-1

Last night the Texas Marshals and Brazos Valley Bombers started the final regular season series of the 2016 Texas Collegiate League campaign.  The Bombers defeated the Marshals by a final score of 8-1.

Marshals Win Final Home Game 3-1

The Texas Marshals won their final home game of the season last night at Graham Field by defeating the Victoria Generals 3-1.  Here is the box score from last night’s game:

• Robichaux going 3-for-5 with a double and a RBI
• Vangelder and Mahdi each getting two hits
• Kunsa and Jacobsen each getting a RBI

The Marshals return home tomorrow night, Tuesday August 9, to begin a two-game series against the Victoria Generals.  First pitch is 7:05 pm.

Marshals Rally In Ninth But Lose To Bombers 3-2

Behind 3-1 last night against the Brazos Valley Bombers, the Texas Marshals scored a run in the top of the ninth inning; but the rally fell short as the Bombers held on to win by a final score of 3-2.  Here is a link to the box score:

Strykers Win In Bottom Of 9th 1-0

Four Run Sixth Inning Powers Strykers Over Marshals

Last night from The Woodlands, the Strykers scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.  That was enough to hold on to defeat the Marshals by a final score of 4-3.  Here is the box score from last night’s game:
