Tonight the Texas Marshals were on the road and defeated the Victoria Generals by a score of 14-5. The Marshals entered the 7th inning trailing 5-4, but the team scored nine runs that inning to take the lead.
This brings the Marshals to a record of 2 wins, 3 losses for the 2018 TCL season.

The Texas Marshals won their first game of the season by a final score of 10-9 over the visiting Acadiana Cane Cutters. The game was played after the conclusion of yesterday’s suspended game. After this afternoon’s victory, the Marshals are now 1-3 on the season.

The conclusion of yesterday’s suspended game (after 6 innings) took place this afternoon. The final score was 17-13, with the Marshals attempting to close the gap after the Cane Cutters were up 14-1 before the weather suspended the game.

Yesterday, the visiting Acadiana Cane Cutters led the Texas Marshals by a score of 14-1 after 6 innings. The game then was postponed due to weather, and the remainder will be played today at 3:00pm. After the conclusion of yesterday’s game, the regularly-scheduled game will start.

A conversation with the ownership yesterday indicated that no games will be played at Prestonwood Christian Academy’s Graham Field this year. The team will be playing the next 3 nights at Texas Weslyan University’s Sycamore Park.
