Marshals Defeat Cane Cutters In 10 Innings

Tonight the Marshals defeated the Acadiana Cane Cutters at Fabacher Field by a final score of 8-7 (10 innings).  Here is a link to the box score:

Highlights for the Marshals from tonight’s game include:

• Connor Scruggs hitting the go-ahead home run in the top of the 10th inning (also going 4-for-6 on the evening)
• Mikell pitching two scoreless innings to get the save
• Ponder pitching 4-1/3 innings of relief giving up 2 runs (1 earned) to get the victory
• Bullock going 4-for-6
• Galy and Mueller each going 2-for-4 on the evening

 

The two teams meet again tomorrow night at Fabacher Field.  Game time is 7:05 pm.
