Marshals Defeat Generals 5-3

Scoring three runs in the fifth inning, last night the Texas Marshals took the lead and defeated the visiting Victoria Generals by a final score of 5-3.  The game took place at Graham Field.

Highlights for the Marshals included:

• Maack going 3-for-5 with a triple and 4 RBI
• Pile going 2-1/3 innings of scoreless relief pitching to earn the victory
• Landry pitching 1-2/3 innings of scoreless relief
• Morris with 1-1/3 innings of scoreless relief pitching to earn the save

 

The same two teams meet again tonight at Graham Field.  First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
