Marshals Hold On To Defeat Twins 2-1

Last night at Graham Field, the Texas Marshals held on to defeat the visiting Texarkana Twins by a final score of 2-1.  Here is the box score:

Highlights for the Marshals included:

• Bullock and Talley each getting a RBI (Talley also drew 3 walks)
• Engle pitching six innings of scoreless baseball to earn the win (striking out 6)
• Morris pitching three innings to earn the save

 

 

The two teams meet again tonight, but the game will be in Texarkana at George Dobson Field.  Game time is 7:05 pm.
