Marshals Defeat Twins 10-6

Last night at George Dobson Field, the Marshals defeated the Texarkana Twins by a final score of 10-6. With the victory, the Marshals improve to a 5-11 record this season.

Highlights for the Marshals included:

• Ponder starting 7 innings and giving up only one earned run to earn the victory
• Hammer pitching 2 innings and giving up no earned runs
• Huber going 1-for-5 with a home run and 2 RBI
• Vangelder, Scruggs and Kunsa each going 3-for-5

 

Tonight the Marshals return home to Graham Field to host the Victoria Generals.  Game time is 7:05 pm.
